Though I’ve written for myself from an early age, it wasn’t until later in life that I became brave enough to show others my words and fell fully in love with the page. Growing up I absorbed story everywhere, spending much of my teens and twenties with my nose in a book, my eyes glued to a film, or on stage and in front of the camera acting. I enjoyed getting lost in imagination, and still do.

I have a BA in Film Production with a focus on writing and directing where I learned to be a team player and carry a story from conception through to completion. I have a second BA in Theatre that taught me how to dive into and develop character.

I‘ve worked in film production and commercials in Los Angeles, wrote and directed several short films. music videos and other projects, and ran my own small production company.

The above experiences have given me a great understanding of how a story comes to life. My favorite stories are those deep with character and dense with twists that have a hint of suspense.

I am an adventure seeker, storyteller, avid learner and life experiencer. I have traveled from the mountain towns of Colorado to the desert city of Burning Man, have lived in the UK, and have camped across Europe. I live life to the fullest and put as much of my actual adventures into story as I do imagination.

I love the outdoors and you can find me hiking or otherwise enjoying nature if I’m not reading, researching, or watching films and television.
